Vow ExchangeLife is change.  Some changes we greet joyfully, like births, weddings, or graduations.  We need to mark and celebrate them, often with ritual.

Kind Words
“Rebecca made a wonderful contribution to our wedding ceremony, not only with her thoughtful and funny homily, but also through the care she took before the ceremony to really get to know us.  When we first spoke, we had just a rough sketch of what we wanted to do, but she really helped us plan a ceremony that was all about our relationship and our special day.  Thanks Rebecca!”   Ben Master, married Dec. 2012

Ring ExchangeOther changes bring us together for support, for understanding and compassion. All life’s milestones call for special attention to their significance for us and our loved ones.

As a chaplain, I’ve been honored to officiate at many weddings or commitment ceremonies, memorials and other rites of passage.  I was proud to perform some of the first same-sex weddings in Northern California in 2008 and I’m delighted to resume helping gays and lesbians get married in this beautiful state.

My goal is to help you craft the ceremony that is right for you, expressing your unique and personal intentions.  Instead of my charging a fee, you are invited to make a donation that you feel conveys your appreciation for the ceremony we create together.

I invite you to contact me to inquire about the event you’re planning.
